Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will work in a dynamic, closely-knit team, responsible for delivering process /system improvement strategies to enable the entire Cash Equities operational work flow to run at its best. Depending on the nature of the project, you will either take on a project lead or a business analyst role.
Working closely with the Cash Equities operational teams to deliver 2010 initiatives, as project manager, you will develop and manage detailed project plans and coordinate interdependencies & relationships between different user groups, with responsibility for implementing solutions and improvements accordingly. As a business analyst, you will review existing business processes, identify gaps and document requirements. Both roles require you to facilitate communications among stakeholders including operational teams, front office (business managers), legal & compliance, Finance, Tax and the technology groups. The ability to work well within and across teams, multi-task and prioritize accordingly will be key to your success.
Key responsibilities of the PM/BA role:
Creating and managing project plans
Working with internal business partners to ensure that the project remains on track in terms of timescale, deliverables and budget
Provide regular briefings and updates to key stakeholders and Senior Management
Analyze workflow, processes and systems
Identify business process improvement areas and recommend solutions
Document requirements
Assist in the establishment of standards and procedures
Participate in user testing
Coordinate with other departments & user groups in system roll-outs, including partners based in London and NY offices
Provide training to end users
Essential skills/Experience:
University graduated. Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or related
Minimum three years relevant experience in banking industry
Solid knowledge of cash equity products and operational processes
Project Management experience preferred
Experience in IT system design, analysis and testing preferred
Experience in preparing test cases, conducting user testing and delivering training
Able to work independently and to deliver projects on schedule
Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
Fluency in written and spoken English a must
Ability to articulate, formulate and deliver quality business requirement documentation
